Support for Families, Carers and Support Workers

Rodem Community Care Pty Ltd can provide education and guidance to families, carers and disability support workers so they can assist with bladder and bowel care safely and appropriately.

Education may include:

• Understanding the participant’s bladder and bowel routine
• Supporting regular toileting
• Safe continence product use
• Recognising constipation or bowel changes
• Recognising signs of urinary tract infection or catheter concerns
• Skin care and hygiene support
• Documentation and reporting requirements
• When to escalate concerns to a nurse, GP or emergency service

This helps the care team provide consistent support and identify concerns early.

NDIS Reports and Product Recommendations

Rodem Community Care Pty Ltd can prepare NDIS-related documentation to support bladder and bowel management needs, continence products and related nursing supports.

• Suggested product quantities and usage
